My Story
Hi there! I’m a nature-loving photographer based in South-Central Kansas. Growing up surrounded by wide-open spaces taught me to appreciate the beauty of the outdoors—the quiet moments, the rugged landscapes, and the wildlife that often goes unnoticed. While I now live near Wichita, my heart still belongs to the wild places that first sparked my passion for photography.
Some of my favorite memories come from trips to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. There’s something magical about watching the sun rise over the Tetons or hearing the distant howl of wolves in Lamar Valley. One moment that always stands out is when my dad and I unknowingly started a "bear jam," pulling over to photograph a grizzly. Another unforgettable experience was watching the Lamar Valley wolf pack attempt to take down a bison calf, only to see the herd circle up, standing their ground to protect their young. Those moments, captured through my lens, are reminders of nature’s raw power and resilience.
As the saying goes, "Leave nothing but footprints and take only memories." I’d like to think that photography allows us to take those memories home—not just for ourselves, but to remind others of the beauty that’s out there, waiting to be discovered.
